  • then on the back of the headlight, squeeze the arc-shaped latch and remove the protective cap from it,
  • disconnect the connector from the burned-out element,
  • push on the fixing spring bracket and remove it, moving from the protrusion to the side,
  • Now you can freely remove the burned out element of a passing beam from a Volkswagen Jetta headlight,
  • remember that during the installation of a new light source on the VW Jetta model, it is necessary to avoid contact of the hands with a glass bottle, since secretory grease is always present on the fingers and, if they get on the flask, it can subsequently cause clouding during heating,
  • carefully install a new light element, observing the condition that the mounting spout, which is on the plate flange, must coincide with the cut of the reflector,
  • then fix the lamp with a spring clip,
  • reconnect the connector to it,
  • we put in place the back cover of the headlight and fix it with a spring mount,
  • Upon completion of assembly, it is necessary to check how the new dipped-beam lamp of the VW Jetta headlights functions,
  • if necessary, you should adjust the direction of the light flux,
  • and the last thing that remains to be done is to close the hood of the Volkswagen Jetta.
